We, humans, are complex beings: bodies, minds, emotions, spirit.
When all of those parts are working in a balanced way, we thrive.
Dr. Edward Bach was an early 20th C. British medical doctor, bacteriologist, homeopath and spiritual writer, best known for developing the Bach Flower Remedies, a form of complementary medicine inspired by classical homeopathic traditions. He believed that “Health depends on being in harmony with our souls.” Some would say that it’s about being in harmony with the community of all life.
Dr. Bach discovered that in treating the emotions of his patients that were not serving them well, the entire person: body, mind and spirit ~ could experience healing and balance.
The energies of the natural world provide what we often need to balance unwanted repetitive thoughts, anger that doesn’t serve us well, shame and guilt, the ability to trust, and nourishment when we are exhausted physically and mentally.
Trauma, grief and deep emotional pain can render us in a holding pattern, a stumbling block to what we were created to be and do. The flowers can help us to discover healing light in the midst of challenging times.
Bach Flower Remedies offer a way to Balance, Peace, Direction & Joy
That “balanced way” is not tedious or boring - and - it is fundamental to Dr. Bach’s healing system of 38 remedies. The gentle but effective remedies free one to live in life-giving connections with others ~ enjoying a sense of awe, joy, ease, and playfulness… a fulfilling and energetic yet peaceful life.
At any stage of life, when emotions are unbalanced, our energy, our ability to participate in life in ways that enrich us and the world – our purpose, our joy – may be hijacked.
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.
The brave [person] is not the one who does not feel afraid, but the one who conquers that fear. ”
